Removing Brightmetrics from your Zoom Account

Beta Notice

Our Zoom integration is currently in Beta and not publicly available, with limited spots for new testers. If you're interested in being an early tester, let us know at support@brightmetrics.com.

If you need to remove the Brightmetrics integration from your Zoom account, follow the steps below.

Removing via the Zoom App Marketplace

  1. 1

Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.

  2. 2

Click Manage >> Added Apps, or search for "Brightmetrics."

  3. 3

    Select the Brightmetrics app.

  4. 4

    Click Remove.

  5. 5

    Confirm the removal when prompted.

What Happens When You Remove the App

Data Access

Brightmetrics will no longer be able to access your Zoom data once the app is removed. Data already imported into Brightmetrics will remain available in your account according to your subscription terms and Brightmetrics' data retention policies. No new data will be imported from Zoom after removal.

Brightmetrics Account

Removing the Zoom app does not cancel your Brightmetrics subscription or delete your Brightmetrics account. Your saved reports, dashboards, and scheduled deliveries that rely on Zoom data will no longer update with new data, but historical data will remain accessible. To fully cancel your Brightmetrics account, contact support@brightmetrics.com.

Reconnecting

If you remove the app and later wish to reconnect, you can re-authenticate from within the Brightmetrics Data Sources Admin page. Historical data from before the removal will still be available, and new data will begin importing upon reconnection.

Removing the Data Source in Brightmetrics

If you want to remove the Zoom data source within Brightmetrics without removing the Marketplace app:

  1. 1

    Log in to Brightmetrics.

  2. 2

Navigate to Admin >> Data Sources.

  3. 3

    Locate the Zoom data source.

  4. 4

Click the gear icon and select Remove.

Note: Removing the data source within Brightmetrics will stop data imports but will not revoke the app authorization in Zoom. To fully disconnect, remove the app from the Zoom App Marketplace as well.

If you have questions about removing Brightmetrics or what happens to your data, email support@brightmetrics.com.
