Reporting On Call Notes

Brightmetrics can report on call notes. Follow the steps below to add the Call Note dimension to your Call Detail Report.

    Navigate to Reports in the Sidebar Menu.

    Select Standard Reports.

    Select the Call Detail Report.

    Click Fields on the left and drag the Call Note dimension from the Available Dimensions box into the Columns box.

    Click Preview Report.

    Optional: Click the 3 dots menu next to the Call Note dimension and choose Add Filter. The filter will appear at the top of the report. Select One and type the text you want to match — this performs a partial text match to return all calls with notes containing that text.

Important

Adding a call note after a call is completed will only update the local history in Communicator — it does not update the call note field in the Mitel (ShoreTel) CDR database that Brightmetrics uses. Once a call is recorded in CDR, it does not change. Call notes must be added and saved before the call ends in order to appear in Brightmetrics reporting.
